Abstract:
To provide a compact hair iron capable of effectively spreading anions to required parts, for which an anion generating mechanism is arranged so as not to be a cause of enlargement of the entire device.
In the hair iron, base parts 29 and 39 of a pair of holding members 2 and 3 are pivoted, hair clamping parts 4 and 5 or 4a and 5a are provided on the surfaces facing each other of the pair of the holding members and a heater is incorporated in at least one of the hair clamping parts. In the hair iron, an ion generating mechanism 7 is provided on the base part side from the hair clamping part. Thus, the spatial contention of the heater and the ion generating mechanism is evaded and the compact hair iron is obtained.
