Abstract:
To provide a hair iron capable of finishing hair straight while suppressing damage to the hair.
The hair iron includes an upper holding portion (a first holding portion) 2A with an upper hair holding surface (a first hair holding surface) 4A, and a lower holding portion (a second holding portion) 2B with a lower hair holding surface (a second hair holding surface) 4B. A space 6 is formed between the upper and lower hair holding surfaces 4A and 4B when the hair holding surfaces 4A and 4B are brought into contact with each other without holding hair H between them.
