Abstract:
To easily set hair in a desired curl shape.
A hair iron: includes a pair of rollers 8, 8a oppositely arranged so as to hold hair on the operation direction side of a first hair holding surface 3 and a second hair holding surface 3a, for generating tensions to be given to hair 13 located on the operation direction side of the first hair holding surface 3 and the second hair holding surface 3a; and includes a control part 5 which controls strengths of the tensions generated by the pair of rollers 8, 8a. The control part 5 gives a tension difference to the hair 13 by controlling so as to make the tensions generated by the pair of the rollers 8 and 8a different from each other.
