Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron capable of curling hair to make it look nice with a simple operation.SOLUTION: A pair of openable/closable arms 2 are provided with heating members 4 which grip hair H in-between. The heating member 4 is formed so that the cross-sectional surface is in an inverted V-shape, to make the whole of the outer surface of the heating member 4 a heating surface. The heating surfaces include a first heating surface 10 and a second heating surface 11 at both sides of edges 9 extending to a longitudinal direction of the arms 2. The first heating surface 10 is formed to have an area larger than that of the second heating surface 11, and heated again by the second heating surface 11 after the tip end part of the hair H is heated by the first heating surface 10. The first heating surface 10 is formed into a slanted state at an angle of 30-80° with respect to an opening/closing direction of the arm 2.
