Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron which can perform various hair curling and waving easily, without turning the hair iron body significantly and winding hair around the iron body.
SOLUTION: The hair iron is equipped with a handle body comprising two arms facing each other pivotally connected so as to rotate freely, and hair clamping part comprising a hair receiving member and hair pressing member. The hair pressing member is provided with heating plates opposing each other. The hair receiving member has a recessed part which can catch hair, and the inner surface of the recessed part forms U-shape including a curbed face and two consecutive side surfaces thereto. External surface of the hair pressing member holds hair against an inner surface of the recessed part of the hair receiving member, having a form including a curbed face and two consecutive side surfaces so as to clamp hair. The heating plates facing each other are provided in an appointed point of one of the side surfaces facing each other of the above each member.
