Abstract:

To prevent the dangers of bringing the skin into contact with a winding drum and a clip, feeling hot and getting burned.

This hair iron is provided with the winding drum 1 to which the hair is wound, the clip 2 for clipping the hair between the outer peripheral surface of the winding drum 1 and a heater 5 for heating the winding drum 1. A guard 6 in a rib shape along a peripheral direction formed by a heat bad conductor is provided at least on a part other than an area facing the clip 2 in the winding drum 1. A protective member 8 composed of the heat bad conductor is provided on the outer surface of the clip 2 formed by a heat good conductor. A required interval is provided between the surface of the winding drum 1 and the skin by the guard 6 and also, the skin is prevented from being brought into contact with the clip 2 by the protective member 8.
