Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair material for a brush excellent in abrasion resistance and hair folding resistance, capable of obtaining cleanability effect over a long period, and to provide a brush using the same.SOLUTION: A hair material for a brush comprises cut bristles of polyester resin monofilaments. In the hair material for a brush, the cut bristle has a modified cross-sectional shape having a corner part with a curvature radius of 0.01-0.06 mm, and the inherent viscosity IV of the cut bristle is in the range of 0.80-1.5.
