Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair material for a brush excellent in hair bending durability and hair opening durability, having soft hair elasticity, and also excellent in tactility/use feeling; and to provide a brush using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a hair material for a brush comprising a polyester resin monofilament. In the hair material for a brush, the polyester resin monofilament comprises a mixture of a 60-90 mass% polytrimethylene terephthalate resin and a 40-10 mass% polybutylene terephthalate resin, and a long cycle of lamella obtained by analyzing the polyester resin monofilament by small-angle X-ray scattering is in the range of 9.0-15.5 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
