PURPOSE: To decorate hair with an ornament and easily and securely fix a hair ornament by rotating and inserting an elastic spiral engaging member into hair while bundling hair.

CONSTITUTION: An engaging portion 2 is made of an elastic steel and designed in a conical-spiral shape such that a radius becomes larger at the top end, an ornament member 1 is fixed to the bottom side of a metal-made attaching plate 7 using brazing. The engaging member 2 is fixed to the ornament member 1 by bonding the top surface of the attaching plate 7 to the bottom side of a base 6 of the ornament member 1 using an adhesive to form a hair ornament. To attach the hair ornament to hair, the ornament member 1 is held and moved so that the engaging portion 2 reaches hair, and rotated several times in the clockwise direction so that the user can feel the hair ornament is fixed. After the rotation is completed, the engaging portion 2 is completely hidden in the hair and only the ornament member 1 can be seen. The engaging portion 2 screwed into hair securely hold the hair ornament. To remove the hair ornament from hair, the user holds the ornament member 1 by fingers and rotates it in the counterclockwise direction.
