PURPOSE: To enable removing hair with a soft feeling, efficiently, comfortably and without much pain.

CONSTITUTION: This hair remover comprises: a hair removing means for removing hair by nipping the hair with a rotatable hair nipping member; a central shaft 9 irrotationally disposed in the center of the hair removing means; and a drive means for rotating the hair removing means. The front end of the central shaft 9 is provided with a flexible rubber-like elastic body 10 which is elastically deformed by pressing. A front end face of the rubber-like elastic body 10 is made approximately equal to a hair removing face of the hair removing means.
