To provide a hair stopper which is smoothly handled to stop the hair, inexpensive and produced with high productivity.
An engagement piece 13 is protrudingly provided at one end side of a band-shaped base plate 1, and a pair of opposed base receiving pieces 12 are formed at the other end side. A bend part 16 in a folded-back shape is formed at the one end of a spring plate part 3 in a curved-downwards shape and via the bend part 16 connected to a hair-pressing plate part 4 which sandwiches hairs in between with the spring plate part 3. Engagement parts 4b which are freely engaged with the engagement piece 13 are provided at the end of the hair-pressing plate part 4. Small protrusion piece parts 16b protruding to both sides are provided at the base part 16a of the bend part 16. Then, these small protrusion piece parts 16b are inserted between the base receiving pieces 12, and the base part 16a of the bend part 16 is held so that the base part 16a can slide to the band-shaped base plate 1 in its longitudinal direction.
