PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair tonic adding hair-growing effects to everyone, hardly having side effects, and having high reliability, and further to provide a method for producing the hair tonic.
SOLUTION: This hair tonic is obtained by adding sugar and water to leaves of a Japanese red pine, fermenting the resultant mixture to form an essence of the Japanese red pine, finely whittling an oily tree part of a root part of the Japanese red pine, mixing the finely whittled product with the essence of the Japanese red pine, fermenting the obtained mixture again to provide a solution, and extracting the solution. The method for producing the hair tonic comprises finely chopping leaves of the Japanese red pine into several centimeters, washing the chopped leaves, putting the washed leaves in a container, adding the sugar and the water thereto, mixing them, fermenting the mixture for several weeks by sealing the container, squeezing the fermented essence, degassing the squeezed product to provide the essence of the Japanese red pine, separately finely whittling the oily tree part of the root part of the Japanese red pine, mixing the whittled oily tree part with the obtained essence of the Japanese red pine, and fermenting the mixture again.
