Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hair tonic containing an aliphatic tertiary amine and effective in decreasing the resting ratio of hairroot, nourishing the hair and preventing the falling-off of hair.
CONSTITUTION: The objective hair tonic contains 0.0001-20wt.% of a tertiary aliphatic amine such as a tertiary amine of formula I (R1 to R3 are straight or branched chain alkyl or alkenyl and the total number of C is 10-30) (e.g. N,N-dimethyldodecylamine) or a dihydroxyethylalkylamine of formula II (R is 8-26C straight or branched-chain alkyl or alkenyl) (e.g. N,N- dihydroxyethyloctadecylamine).
