Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment device effectively straightening wavy hair or curling straight hair by applying negative ions generated by an ion generator to the hair and preventing a suction port from being directly blocked with the hand of a user in setting the hair.
SOLUTION: This hair treatment device is provided with first and second clamp arms 2 and 3 having hair clamp bodies 5 and 6 clamping the hair, the ion generator 11 generating the ions and an ion outlet 13 blowing the generated ions. The oppositely disposed first and second clamp arms 2 and 3 are connected to each other with a swing shaft 4 so that the both clamp arms 2 and 3 are swingingly opened/closed around the swing shaft 4. The first clamp arm 2 comprises a hollow case body 8 storing a fan 9 and a motor 10 for feeding the generated ions. An air suction port 15 for the fan 9 is opened in a surface of the case body 8 opposed to the second clamp arm 3. In a closed state where the first and second hair clamp bodies 5 and 6 are oppositely approached to each other, an air suction clearance E is secured between the case body 8 and the second clamp arm 3 in the side of a grip part 1A and the air suction port 15 is opened facing to the air suction clearance E.
