Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air blower such as a hairdryer.SOLUTION: A hairdryer comprises: a body having a first annular wall and a second annular wall, the first annular wall at least partially defining a bore extending through the body; a fluid flow path extending through the bore from a first fluid inlet, through which a first fluid flow enters the hairdryer, to a first fluid outlet, from which the first fluid flow is discharged; and a primary fluid flow path extending at least partially through the body from a second fluid inlet, through which a primary fluid flow enters the hairdryer, to a second fluid outlet. The primary fluid flow path comprises, within the body, a first and a second section, and a heater. The first section is arranged to direct fluid over an internal surface of at least one of the annular walls. The first section is arranged upstream of, or in parallel with, the second section. The fluid is discharged through the fluid outlet of the fluid flow path and the fluid outlet of the primary fluid flow path.
