Abstract:
To provide a half-dry odor inhibitor having an excellent ability to inhibit a half-dry odor generated from a textile product.
Provided is a half-dry odor inhibitor represented by the following general formula (1). In the formula, R1 is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or -O-R3 (R3 is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group.) A broken line indicates that it may be a double bond. R2 represents an alkyl group or an oxo group. When R2 is an oxo group, R2 is double bonded to a γ position of a carbon atom on a ring to which R1 is bonded through a carbonyl carbon. n represents an integer of 1-3. The total carbon number of the compound represented by the general formula (1) is 10-16.
