To provide a hall door for an elevator openable and closable at a position allowing a motor brake to be easily confirmed regardless of an engagement mechanism between a car door and the hall door.
This hall door for an elevator comprises a drive-side hall door installed in an elevator hall of the elevator, and openably and closably driven by engaging with a car door of a car liftably arranged in a hoistway, and a driven-side hall door openably and closably drive by being connected to the drive-side hall door by a connection mechanism. In the hall door for an elevator, the connection mechanism is provided with an operation part allowing the driven-side hall door to be opened/closed with respect to the drive-side hall door. Thereby, the hall door can be opened by opening the driven-side door without applying operation to the drive-side hall door.
