Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a novel halogenoallylazolyl deriv. which has a good microbiocidal activity and is useful for protecting plants and materials such as adhesives.
CONSTITUTION: A compd. of formula I {wherein R1 is halogenoallyl, propargyl, substd. cycloalkyl, (substd.) heteroaryl, or a group of formula II [wherein R3 is H, (substd.) phenyl, or (substd.) phenoxymethyl; R4 is H or halogen; and R5 is isopropyl, (substd.) phenyl, or (substd.) phenoxy]; R2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, acyl, or aralkyl; X1 and X2 are each halogen; X3 is H or halogen; and Y is N or CH} is provided, which is prepd. by reacting a compd. of formula III with a halogen or a halogen donor in the presence of a diluent.
