Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hammer grab beneficial in cost and an excavation method in a steel pipe using the same enhancing the operability and eliminating the impulse sound, without replacing the hammer grab itself even in the case where the diameter and length are different from each other in the method of excavating in a steel pipe as a casing.
SOLUTION: An upper pulley block 15 is attached to the inside of a cylindrical upper frame 11 and a lower pulley block 17 is attached to the inside of the lower frame 12. A weight 16 is detachably arranged at the outside lower part of the upper frame 11. The excavation method in the steel pipe using the hammer grab is provided as a base means in which a shell mounting frame 13 is detachably fixed to the lower side of the lower frame 12 to arrange openably/closably a pair of shells 14 constituted of right and left symmetrical shells.
