PURPOSE: To provide a hand carrying part thin yet high in adhesive strength, free from smudge on the printed surface and handy to use by a method wherein a synthetic paper base and a strip-like hand carrying piece made of high-density polypropylene foam are attached together with a thermoplastic resin adhesive agent.

CONSTITUTION: A base 2 for the hand carrying part is made of a multilayer synthetic paper manufactured by biaxially stretching the material containing polypropylene resin as a main constituent, an inorganic filler and a small amount of additive. A thermo-plastic resin adhesive agent is uniformly applied to the bag attaching side of the synthetic paper base 2, a strip-like hand carrying piece 3 made of high-density polypropylene foam is bent and attached to the base with the attaching parts held nearly parallel to each other and a strippable paper 4 is attached to the base.
