To provide a hand dolly which can prevent load collapse or falling off certainly when the dolly is fully loaded and run being pushed by hand using a simple device of such a structure that a belt takeup device is installed on the dolly.
A hand dolly is configured so that a grip 2 for hand push operation is mounted upright at the tail 7 of the dolly 1, wherein a belt takeup device 3 for taking up a load setting belt 4 and rewinding is attached to the undersurface of the dolly 1, and a detaining tool 5 to generate engagement with the grip 2, etc., is furnished at the end of a load setting belt 3 paid off from the belt takeup device 3, and the load setting belt 4 paid off from the takeup device 3 is led via the forefront 6 of the dolly from its undersurface and set round the load 8 placed on the dolly 1 so that the belt end is tied with the grip 2, or the detaining tool 5 is engaged by the grip 2 so that detention is established.
