To obtain a hand drying device which makes water throwing away work unnecessary and saves maintenance.
The hand drying device 11 is composed of a hand insertion part 12 in which the hand is inserted, a blowing off nozzle 13 which blows off a wind to the hand, a ventilation means 14 which introduces the wind into the blowing off nozzle, and a vaporization member 15, which is removably prepared and has gas permeability and water retentivity as a water receiving means which receives water blown away by the wind which is blown off from the blowing off nozzle 13. Thereby, because water caught by the vaporization member 15 as the water receiving means evaporates by air drying or blowing of the wind which is blown off from the blowing off nozzle 13, labor hour of throwing away collected water can be saved after water is collected in the receiving means and overflows from it.
