To provide, in particular, a hot air blower such as a hair dryer in blowers.
A hand-held electric appliance includes: a body; a fluid flow path; a primary fluid flow path; a fan unit; and a filter, and is configured such that fluid is drawn in through the fluid flow path by fluid emitted from a second fluid outlet. The filter can be arranged upstream of the fan unit including a motor. A heater can be provided and the filter is arranged upstream of the heater. The filter can be arranged at, or adjacent, a second fluid inlet that can be arranged in the body. The second fluid inlet can at least partially extend about a first fluid inlet. The second fluid inlet and the filter can be annular in shape. The body can include an inner wall and an outer wall extending about the inner wall. The inner wall forms a bore through which the fluid flow path extends. The inner wall forms an outer perimeter of the first fluid inlet and an inner perimeter of the second fluid inlet. A hair dryer is also provided.
