PURPOSE: To smoothly lift a lifted object and gently and safely lower the lifted object by reducing the moving resistance when a bearer is lifted.

CONSTITUTION: A bearer 3 is liftably supported on a stanchion 1 by a link member 2, and the bearer 3 is lifted or lowered by the action of a handle 4. A cam member 5 is pivotally fitted to the bearer 3, a coupling section 33 is provided on the bearer 3, and the stanchion 1 is provided with a hook section 12 hooking the bearer 3 at the lifted position, a control pin 6, and a regulator 7. The cam member 5 is provided with the first cam face 51 coupled with the control pin 6 at the lifted position of the bearer 3 to allow the coupling of the coupling section 33 with the hook section 12 and the second cam face 52 coupled with the control pin 6 by the lifting action of the bearer 3 to the lifted position to release the coupling of the coupling section 33 with the hook section 12 and non-couplably support the cam member 5.
