Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a hand-made swellable snack capable of being readily coated with a candy and flavored by packing corn for pop and maltitol or glucose in a container capable of resisting to microwave oven heating.
CONSTITUTION: The container for microwave ovens includes microwavepenetrative synthetic resin and a paper containers which resist to the immediate swelling of contents. The swellable raw material includes pop corn and snack dough which are employed singly or as a combination thereof especially without restricting the combination ratio. The sweetener composition contains essentially the maltitol or glucose which may be employed together, thereby permitting to provide the swelled snack uniformly coated with the candy.
