A hand mirror includes: a mirror surface sheet 105 whose curvature can be changed; an exterior case 101 forming spaces 107a and 107b where the mirror surface sheet 105 can be deformed, and a space which can communicate with ambient air; and means 103 for controlling the pressure in the space which can communicate with ambient air. The exterior case 101 is provided with a transparent plate 102 disposed on both surface sides at a position corresponding to the mirror surface sheet 105, and the means 103 for controlling the pressure in the space which can communicate with ambient air is provided with means 104 for causing the pressure to escape when the pressure is increased.
