Title:
HAND MOLDING METHOD FOR CASTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63303676
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve productivity and product quality by executing casting of lead alloy through brass- or aluminum-made metallic mold.

CONSTITUTION: Part molds 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d with a pattern engraving, etc., on inner face thereof are formed with brass or aluminum material. These part molds 1aW1d are assembled and arranged, and fixed from upper and lower sides as the mold for the product of a trophy, etc., and heated in a heating furnace at the prescribed temp. Next, molten metal of the lead alloy is poured from a sprue 3 while cooling the mold 2 in a water vessel to execute the casting. By this method, as the mold 2 can be easily formed with hand working while keeping up with the high grade of the product, in the case of multi-kind small-quantity production, the productivity is improved. Further, as the mold 2 is produced with the hand working to be able to execute fine working, the product quality is improved.
