Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain hand-over processing without a silence time.
SOLUTION: When a mobile terminal 7 detects degradation in reception quality or in a reception level of a mobile source radio base station 1 and detects presence of a mobile destination radio base station 2 that can receive a radio signal of reception quality or a reception level around the mobile terminal 7, the mobile terminal 7 transmits a speech channel connection request signal used to assign other speech channel B to the mobile destination radio base station 2, when the mobile destination radio base station 1 receiving this speech channel connection request signal has an idle speech channel corresponding to the other speech channel B, the mobile station 1 transmits a connection reply signal to the mobile terminal 7 to set up a speech path by the other speech channel B so as to continue communication between the mobile terminal 1 and the mobile destination radio base station 1. After the speech channel is set up, the speech path by a speech channel between the mobile terminal 7 and the mobile source radio base station 1 is interrupted.
