To provide a handcart with a brake suitable for various kinds of needs, and a self-standing handcart in a folded condition.
The handcart has a fixed brake to maintain the braked condition in addition to a manual brake unless a user releases the fixed brake after operating the brake. In the manual brake operation, a brake body suppresses a wheel by the movement of a small wire. A spring for restoration used in the manual brake operation is also used for the fixed brake. A luggage storage part is foldable with a front side thereof lifted upwardly with reference to a rear side. Thus, the structure, etc. of a shaft to connect right and left main columns to each other and pipes folded in a square to form side wall surfaces in the longitudinal and right-to-left directions of the luggage storage part is devised.
