This handguard stopper for the bamboo sword prevents the movement of the handguard by abutting a handguard stopper body to the handguard, which is mounted on the handle base of the bamboo sword handle from the handle head, from the handle head side; wherein the handguard stopper body is formed into a doughnut shape by being covered with a sheet member incorporating the bedding member in its inside, has the outside diameter dimension smaller than the outside diameter of the handguard and the inside diameter dimension smaller than the handle base, and has a friction sewing part formed by annularly sewing a position in an enlarging direction from the inside diameter and separated from the bedding member, and a locking sewing part formed by annularly sewing a position clamping the bedding member having the enlarged diameter from the friction sewing part.
