PURPOSE: To cope with variations of a weight balance, even in case when an auxiliary apparatus such as a sorter, etc. has been installed, by providing a handle part so as to be movable in accordance with movement of the center of gravity of the apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: A handle member 12 is constituted of a handle part 12a and a rotary supporting part 12b, and shaped like a crank lever. The supporting part 12b is inserted into a hole 14 of a handle supporting member 13 cut and raised on a bottom plate member 9. When lifting up only a copying machine body 1, a weight w1 of the body 1 can be lifted up in a well-balanced state by setting the handle part 12a to the right side position shown in the figure. On the other hand, when a sorter 3 has been installed, the body 1 can be lifted up in a well- balanced state in accordance with a weight (w1+w2) by turning clockwise the handle member 12 and setting it to a position of an alternate long and two shart dashes line. Therefore, an apparatus can be lifted up in a well-balanced state by moving the handle in accordance with movement of the center of gravity.
