PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a versatile device corresponding to the thickness of an open-close board.
SOLUTION: A freely rotatable handle 5 is installed onto the external wall surface of an open-close board B mounted in the opening section of a main body such as furniture, and a latch mechanism 1 engaged or disengaged with or from an engaging member set up at the place of the main body such as furniture engaged by forward moving and retreating the latch mechanism 1 while interlocking the mechanism 1 with the revolution of the handle 5 is attached onto the internal wall surface of the open-close board B corresponding to the handle 5. The handle 5 has a handle section 6 having an engaging projection 6b in a rear end face while being projected to the external wall surface from an opening hole formed to the open-close board B and being rotated and operated, a handle shaft 8, which is inserted into the opening hole formed to the open-close board B and in which an engaging recessed section 8c integrally engaged with the handle section 6 rotatably is formed at one end section while a front-end shaft section is interlinked with the latch mechanism 1 and the latch mechanism 1 is operated, and one or a plurality of spacers 7 having an engaging recessed section 7b and an engaging projection 7c interposed between the handle section 6 and the handle shaft 8 and interlinked integrally and transmitting the revolution of the handle section 6 to the handle shaft 8.
