Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device mounting structure which absolutely dispenses with formation of a through hole and a screw hole for a mounting screw in a door panel, dispenses with retaining of a handle device from the front of the door panel by the operator when a set screw is clamped, and is available for the door panel different in board thickness.
SOLUTION: According to the handle device mounting structure, a positioning groove 7 is formed in a one-side end of a housing 1, and a one-side end of a mounting opening 4 formed in the door panel 3 has its rear edge 4a engaged with the positioning groove 7. Then, by pressing and rotating a stopper member 10 by means of the set screw 12 screwed into the screw hole 9 formed in the housing 1, a front surface portion 10a of the stopper member 10 is engaged with a rear surface 5c of an other-side end 5b of a front projection 5 of the housing 1, and a rear edge 4b of an other-side end of the mounting opening 4. Further, the stopper member 10 is rotated outward by means of a spring member 15, and the front surface portion 10a of the stopper member 10 is made arcuate.
