In the handle device with a lock function, the body case is pushed in the fitting hole of the opening/closing member, causing the inclined cam surface of the claw plate part of the body case side wall to be pushed to the hole edge of the fitting hole and also causing the claw plate part to fall toward the inner space of the body case, and the opening/closing member is held between the engaging surface of the front end flange and the engaging surface of the claw plate part of the body case, causing the body case to be engaged/fixed to the opening/closing member. A notch is formed at the rear end edge of the handle plate part so that the tip of the claw plate part fallen into the inner space of the body case may not collide with the handle plate part of a lever, when the lever is pulled up and turned to an unlock position.
