To provide a handle device which enables a manipulation to draw a handle from a moving body and lock the handle or conversely a manipulation to unlock the handle and house the handle with a series of manipulations by extremely simple constitution.

This handle device consists of the handle 2 which energizes the moving body 4 in its moving direction, and guide mechanisms 3 which can movably guide the handle 2 between a housing position X where the handle is housed in the moving body 4 and a lock position Z where the handle projects from the moving body 4. In such a case, the guide mechanisms 3 include guide ends 23 which are disposed at the handle 2, first guide parts 32 which guide these guide ends 23 between the housing position X and a draw-out position Y set as an intermediate position drawn out of the housing position X and second guide parts 33 which guide the guide ends 23 between the draw-out position Y and the non-returnable lock position Z beyond the draw-out position Y. The drawing-out and housing manipulation of drawing out or housing the handle 2 between the housing position X and the draw-out position Y through the guide mechanisms 3 and the locking and unlocking manipulation to move and lock or unlock the handle 2 between the draw-out position Y and the locking position Z is executable by a series of the manipulations.
