Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift a handle lock quickly and surely by interposing a bush engaged with a valve stem between the valve stem and a handle, providing a pin hole at least on one position of a handle boss part and the sliding face of the bush riding over both members, and inserting and detaching a lock pin against it.
SOLUTION: A pin hole 6 provided riding over both members between the sliding faces of a bush 2 and the boss part 3a of a handle 3 rotatably engaged with each other, and a lock pin 5 is inserted and detached against the pin hole 6 through the through-hole 4b of a valve name plate 4. Under the condition in which the lock pin 5 is inserted and the bush 2 and the handle 3 are engaged with each other, torque of the handle 3 is transmitted to a valve stem 1 as it is. Further because a supporting plate 7 rotatably fitted with the lock pin 5 and the receiving seat 4d of the valve name plate 4 are piled up, the hooked rod of a padlock N is inserted into both key holes 4c, 7a and locked. Meanwhile at detaching the lock pin 5, the handle 3 is idlingly rotated, and the torque is not transmitted to the valve stem 1.
