Abstract:
To provide a steering wheel which has good workability of mounting of a coating member to a rim part body part, and excellent appearance, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A steering wheel 1 includes a rim part 5 having a rim part body part 19, and a coating member 12 coating at least a part of the rim part body part 19. The steering wheel 1 includes a decorative part 21 mounted on the rim part 5. The rim part body part 19 includes a mounting part 20 on which the decorative part 21 is mounted in a direction crossing a direction at which the rim part body part 19 extends. The coating member 12 includes one division body 30 and the other division body 31 covering one and the other based on the mounting part 20 to the rim part body part 19. In the one division body 30 and the other division body 31, at least parts of facing ends 36 and 37 in the mounting part 20 have mutually complementary shapes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
