PURPOSE: To reduce the number of manufacturing processes and parts and make it possible to manufacture with good yield by a method wherein a saw blade fitting part has a first part, which is integrally produced with a gripping part, and a second part combinable with the first part so as to pinchingly hold a saw blade between the first part and the second part.

CONSTITUTION: A saw blade fitting part 3 consists of a fitting supporting part as a first part, which is integrally produced with a gripping part 4, and a keep plate as a second part combinable with the fitting supporting part 5. The fitting supporting part 5 consists of projecting strips 7, which run along the longitudinal direction of a saw handle 1 at both its side edge parts, and a main recessed surface part 8 between the strips, in which the root part of a saw blade 2 is housed and, after that, the keep plate is fitted on the saw blade. Two through holes 9 and 10 are bored through the fitting supporting part 5, the keep plate 6 and the root part of the saw blade 2. The fitting support part 5, the keep plate 6 and the root part of the saw blade 2 are piled up in the state laminated to one another so as to be clamped and fixed to one another by passing fixing screws 11 and 12 through the through holes 9 and 10.
