Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a door handle setting seat that is suitable for an indicating lock, disusing any attaching screw, and capable of being attached to a door simply and speedily and also of performing any centering with a cam hole of the lock easily and accurately as well as reducing the number of part items and making improvements in appearance in and around the circumference of a handle setting part, besides improvements in serviceableness from the standpoint of usage.
CONSTITUTION: A lock 19 equipped with plural pieces of centering guide holes 27 is embedded in the inner part of a door 17, and two handle setting seats 30 and 32 are secured to each position of both inner and other surfaces of the door 17 corresponding to these centering guide holes 27. Two pipe shafts 31 being insertable into the guide holes 27 are installed in the handle setting seat 30 on one side in a projecting manner. In addition, these pipe shafts 31 are inserted into the handle setting seat 32 on the other, and two press-in shafts 33 being diametrally expandable are installed in these shafts 31. These diametrally expanded pipe shafts 31 are made pressable to each inner surface of the centering guide holes 27.
