Title:
HANDLE SHOCK ABSORBING MECHANISM FOR BICYCLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP10129565
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To effectively absorb impact applied to the handle of a bicycle.

Both end portions 3 and 3 having griping parts are formed at both the sides of a post portion 2 formed at the upper part of a post 4 which is the handle portion of a bicycle, and a leaf spring 5 is interposed between both the end portions across the post portion 2. When the tube of a wheel located underneath the post 4 is subjected to pressure caused by irregularities over a road surface, and when impact due to the pressure is applied to the post portion 2, the impact can be absorbed by letting both the end portions 3 and 3 be moved down in a middle bent shape about the post portion 2 as its axis.
