To provide a handle of a slider for a slide fastener wherein when the fastener is opened or closed, excessive forces are not exerted on the handle made of an elastic material, and the handle can be brought down on a body and held in a stable manner, without being swung.
A cover body 5 being a handle mount part 4 is mounted on the upper surface of a body 1, and a handle 2 comprising an annular elastic material is fixed to a horizontal bar 22 at the front and rear ends of a rectangular connector 3 longer than the body 1. The bar 22 is set at the center of the connector 3 so that the bar 22 is inserted into an automatic stop rod 10 fitted in the cover body 5. A compressed part 26 is formed near each of fixing parts 25 being formed on the opposite ends of the handle 2 respectively to allow elastic deformation thereof, while a grip part 27 is disposed spaced apart from the part 25 so as to be easily gripped. The middle part of the connector 3 to be disposed above the body 1 is lowered, while the parts 25 are elevated to provide a step between the middle part and the part 25, so that if the handle is slightly raised, the rod 10 can be lifted and slid and hence the handle can be brought down on the body 1 in a stable manner.
