The illuminated switch is configured, so that a changeover mechanism to put on and off the switch and the projector lamp to display the hot-line condition of a control circuit are stored in a casing, and the projector lamp is equipped on its front surface with a handle capable of moving in the axial direction and making a changeover operation by turning the changeover mechanism, where the handle is removably mounted on a rotor coupled with the rotary shaft of the changeover mechanism, in such a way as not to slip off the rotor, and part or the whole of the handle is formed from a translucent material.
