Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle unit being set on the top side of an angle measuring machine, e.g. a transit, or a total station having an angle measuring function and a range finding function in which observation on the top side by means of a telescope is not disturbed.
SOLUTION: The surveying machine 10 comprises a turnable telescope 28 for measuring the angle with respect to a predetermined line of collimation. A handle unit 38 (42, 48, 54, 56) are disposed on top of the telescope body and arranged such that observation at least in the central region of the telescope 28 is not disturbed when the telescope 28 is directed toward the top side.
