Title:
HANDLELESS VALVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62220777
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To miniaturize a valve as a whole and, at the same time, facilitate the operation thereof by placing a valve seat in a cylindrical body so that it may be free to travel in the axial direction, and then using a cylindrical operating element to operate the valve seat. CONSTITUTION:In the valve body 5, a valve mount 2 and a valve element 3 are fixed by means of a fixing bolt 4. In the valve mount 2, a hole is made. An operating element 6 and a connecting element 9, whose one ends are shaped in a hook-like form respectively, are fixed at the above ends, and moved back and forth by means of a stopper ring 8. Hereupon, the swinging movement of the operating element 6 causes the connecting element 9 to move in the axial direction, and then, a stopper 7 as a valve seat is caused to move in the axial direction by means of a connecting bolt 10 of the connecting element 9 so that the clearance between the valve element 3 is adjusted, and therefore, the rate of flow can also be adjusted.
