Title:
HANDLING ACTION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ROBOT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0233606
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To ensure the handling actions of a robot with higher efficiency by preparing a procedure teaching part, an auxiliary memory part, a processing part for higher rank instructions and a data processing part and also adding a judging means for work commands and a procedure data editing means to the data processing part. CONSTITUTION:A robot action procedure teaching part 1 teaches a robot the numerical data received from a host computer, and the taught action procedure is stored in an auxiliary data memory part 2. When a work macrocommand is received from a higher rank system like a main computer, etc., said action procedure is read out of the part 2. At a data processing part 4, a data editing means 5 works to edit the procedure data read out of the part 2 into the abbreviated action procedure data after a continuous command deciding means 5 decides that the work command received from the higher rank system is equal to the continuous one. Thus the robot performs a job to an access destination based on the obtained abbreviated action procedure. Then the time required for handling actions of the robot is shortened.
