PURPOSE: To enable this device to handle each size of bottles regardless of their sizes or the shape of their mouths by catching a bottle, equipping an abutting board and a catching board at the handling section moving up and down and back and forth.
CONSTITUTION: Bottles 15 carried in the direction of A of a carry path 21 are brought into contact with one another at the downstream end of the carry path 21 and there they are made to wait. The handling part 12 is lowered along vertical guide rails 11, and a cylindrical cylinder 19 is operated to open catching boards 18, and in that condition they are drawn to the side of abutting boards 17 to catch a bottle 16. Next, the handling part 12 is lifted in the direction from B to B', and further it is advanced from C to C', and also is lowered to place the bottles 16 at the end of the pallet 15, and catching boards 18 are opened to arrange the bottles at the end of the pallet 15. Then, the handling part 12 is lifted and shifted by one step from C', and then it is lowered again and push the bottles 16 in the direction of D so as to draw up them. By repeating the above operation, the palletizing is performed.
