PURPOSE: To improve transparency and antistatic properties and to further enhance rubbing-off resistance and solvent resistance by providing a laminating film based on a mixture of water-soluble copolyester and alkyl ether sulfate on at least the single surface of polyester.

CONSTITUTION: A laminating film based on a mixture of water-soluble copolyester and alkyl ether sulfate is provided on at least the single surface of a polyester film, pref., a film composed of ethylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate. As the water-soluble copolyester, it is pref. that at least 60mol% or more of the total dicarboxylic acid components is aromatic dicarboxylic acid and 7-40mol% thereof is an ester forming alkali metal sulfonate compd. By the use of the alkyl ether copolyester salt, antistatic properties are imparted while the excellent transparency, adhesiveness and rubbing-off resistance of water-soluble copolyester are kept.
