Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the operability of a handpiece by eliminating the external lead wire for a root canal length measuring circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The cutting tool 10 also used as a root canal length measuring electrode mounted on a head is electrically connected to one signal wire of the root canal length measuring circuit/installed in a controller main body C through the conductive member in the head. Therefore, it is unnecessary to subject a signal lead wire to external wiring with respect to the cutting tool and troublesomeness such that the lead wire must be subjected to external wiring at every treatment is eliminated and the operability of a handpiece H is enhanced to obtain a root canal length measuring device easy to use.
