PURPOSE: To provide a handrail for a bathtub easy to fit or remove, having stable feeling, having stable feeling, becoming no obstacle in the invariably fitted state, and excellent in external appearance.
CONSTITUTION: Base ends 5a, 5a of horizontal open leg plates 5, 5 having the same length are pivotally fitted to both upper end sections of a bathtub outside edge butt member 1 provided with a handrail 2 angle-adjustable in the horizontal direction and formed with an elastic plate layer 3 on the inside. Tips 5b, 5b of the horizontal open leg plates 5, 5 are pivotally fitted on a pair of bathtub inside edge butt members 8, 8, the opposite side faces of the outside edge butt members 8, 8 are connected by a turnbuckle 9, and a grip handle 10 controlling the rotating action of the turnbuckle 9 is integrally provided on the outside of the turnbuckle 9.
