To provide a handrail coping connecting device for easily performing connecting work, by securing an accurate installation position of a coping when used in common for installation to a building in addition to the connection of mutual copings, by providing sufficient connecting yield strength while allowing the expansion by a temperature change in a handrail coping.
This handrail coping connecting device has a first connecting member 2 having an outside surface of a major arc along an inner diameter of an inserting tubular coping 1 and having innermost wide both inclined faces 7 opposed to both lower edge part insides in an arc-shaped plate part 6 continuing with both lower edge parts 5 sandwiching an opening, and a second connecting member 3 having both wedge-shaped side surfaces 9 fitted to both inclined faces of the first connecting member, having a through-screw hole 10 penetrating in the vertical direction of a central part and arranged between both inclined faces of the first connecting member. The device has an operation screw 4 threadedly engaged with the through-screw hole of the second connecting member from the outside and having the tip 12 abutting on an arc-shaped plate part inside top surface 8 of the first connecting member.
